Software Engineering Intern - AI & Cloud
Join our founding team as an intern to help build AI-native systems that do real work with real safeguards. You'll work closely with senior engineers to turn ambitious product ideas into production-grade architecture, spanning backend systems, cloud infrastructure, secure orchestration, and applied AI. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience shaping the technical future of an early-stage startup.
What You'll Do
- Assist in building and testing our platform's core components, including orchestration, execution, and operator workflows.
- Help design and deploy secure cloud-native systems across AWS and Kubernetes under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to the development of deterministic and model-assisted systems that are safe by design.
- Participate in technical discussions and learn to make high-leverage architectural decisions.
- Work closely with the founding team to translate concepts into shipped, production-ready code.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of system design, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proficiency in coding with Go, Python, or similar languages, with a desire to learn.
- Experience with Hermes and Openclaw is a massive plus.
- A strong curiosity about cloud infrastructure and secure system architecture. Prior knowledge of AWS or Kubernetes (EKS) is NOT required for this internship.
- A genuine interest in AI systems and understanding the balance between LLMs and deterministic software.
- Eagerness to take ownership of projects and tackle hard problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Excitement to work on-site in Goa with a small, high-talent, high-agency team.
