Founding Senior / Staff Engineer

Join us at the ground level to turn ambitious product ideas into production-grade architecture, spanning backend systems, cloud infrastructure, secure orchestration, and applied AI. You'll be working directly with the founder to shape the technical future of Rescape.
What You'll Do
- Architect and build our platform's core from the ground up, including orchestration, execution, governance, audit, and operator workflows.
- Design and deploy secure, highly-available cloud-native systems across AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Develop deterministic and model-assisted systems that are inherently explainable, auditable, and safe by design.
- Make high-leverage, foundational technical decisions that will shape our long-term architecture.
- Work hand-in-hand with the founder to translate ambitious concepts into shipped, production-ready systems.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience in backend, platform, distributed systems, or infrastructure-heavy product development.
- Outstanding system design and architecture skills, with strong practical depth in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Excellent coding abilities in Go and/or Python.
- High judgment around security, technical trade-offs, and production reliability.
- A genuine curiosity about AI systems, grounded by the discipline to keep deterministic software in the loop where it counts.
- A desire for founding-level ownership, tackling hard systems problems with real-world consequences.
- Excitement to work on-site in Goa with a small, high-talent, high-agency team.
